Hi and welcome to Blackdog Handcrafted Jewelry! My studio is located in a lovely mountain town just above Denver and a stone's throw below the Continental Divide. After growing up on Long Island, NY and living in 10 states around the country, I finally landed in this beautiful place 22 years ago. Each one of my designs has an organic look and feel that reflects my love of the magnificent Colorado mountains, the deep shadowy canyons, the muted colors of the rushing rivers and creeks, the sun drenched high alpine meadows and the rugged landscapes. I find an abundance of inspiration around me. The unique style of my jewelry is both natural and soft yet bold, unique and easy to wear. I love to let the metal tell me a story as it takes shape...when it is combined with rich earthy gemstones and polished, the metal takes on a warm glow that looks and feels amazing next to the skin. I hope you enjoy wearing my jewelry as much as I enjoy creating it!
